Bio

Eleanor has been practicing law for more than 45 years.  Since 1991, Eleanor has been a sole practitioner with her practice almost exclusively in family law.  She has been a registered collaborative family lawyer since 2005.  The collaborative process provides options to assist the parties reach a solution for settlement agreeable to both parties.  It employs other trained collaborative professionals to provide information and advice to the parties in reaching a settlement.  It is a cost effective and timely way to deal with and resolve conflict and offers a win/win solution to the parties.

Eleanor is a past Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Edmonton Food Bank (1996 – 2002), past member and Chairperson of St. Joseph’s College, University of Alberta (1986-1992); and past secretary of the Board of Governors of the Ronald McDonald House (1988-1990).  She is currently a volunteer mediator in the Child Resolution Program.
