Linnea is an associate with Strathcona Law Group LLP in Sherwood Park. She joined the firm in November of 2016 after having relocated from Lloydminster, AB/SK. She has been engaged in the practice of family law since her graduation from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987 with an LLB, first in Swift Current, then Moosomin, and finally Lloydminster.
She trained as a mediator in 1995 and received her collaborative law training in 2002. Linnea embraced the collaborative model as an alternative to high conflict and high cost litigation and is pleased to assist clients in its use as a respectful, fair and transparent way to assist families in navigating through their breakdown.
Linnea is married to Dale and the mother of two grown daughters. In her spare time, she runs, hikes, and golfs. She recently signed up for an art class with the U of A, Faculty of Extension, and is a member of the non-performing Joyful Noise choir.
