Katherine is a lawyer, mediator, Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer and Partner at Strathcona Law Group LLP. Katherine obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta in 2009, where she was awarded the Horace Harvey Medal as the student with the highest GPA in her graduating class.
Katherine originally practiced with a large regional law firm in Edmonton before making the transition into the practice of family law with Strathcona Law Group in 2013. After working with many families experiencing significant personal and financial stress in going to court to resolve their divorce and separation issues, Katherine has seen first-hand the challenges of resolving family disputes in court. Given these experiences, Katherine is committed to helping families resolve disputes in a respectful, fair and transparent way that respects the needs and values of each of the people involved.
Katherine is married, and has four children. When not practicing law, she can be found with her husband and kids biking, hiking, paddling, skiing (when the weather’s good), and reading, baking and playing board games (when the weather’s not so good).
