Cathryn graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina. She has narrowed her practice to Family Law and is a registered Collaborative Family Lawyer. Cathryn is committed to her clients at all stages of the legal process- whether that involves the preparation of property contracts at the beginning of a relationship or the settlement of custody, support and property during a separation.
Cathryn strives to bring creative ideas to the table. When needed, she will incorporate the expertise of accountants, financial experts, coaches and child specialists to maximize outcomes for all parties. Her ideal solutions will represent clients’ interests, while preserving the family relationships.
In her spare time, Cathryn studies an approach to conflict resolution called “Powerful Non-Defensive Communication”, runs along the Sturgeon River, and bikes to the St. Albert Farmer’s Market for high quality local treats. She also enjoys skiing, backpacking in the mountains, and traveling with her partner Jeff and their children Michael and Jillian.
