Registered Psychologist: I am a registered psychologist with over 20 years of experience counseling and assessing children, adults and families.
Collaborative Divorce: I have for several years acted as a Divorce Coach or Child/Family Specialist on collaborative teams. It is very rewarding to help separating individuals and their children navigate this challenging transition better prepared to live their lives well.
Divorce Counseling and Mediation: I also provide other divorce/separation related interventions including mediation, co-parent counseling, and blended/stepfamily counseling. I also work with families when a child resists or refuses contact with a parent.
Court-Related Work: I am a Parenting Coordinator and provide other court directed Practice Note 7 (PN7) interventions and Practice Note 8 (PN8) parenting assessments. I have been qualified as a parenting expert in the Court of Queen’s Bench.
Psychotherapy: Another major part of my practice is non-divorce related therapy for people with personality, relationship, emotional, parenting or health problems.
Credentials: I have a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Alberta and extensive training and experience in specific areas of practice. I have served as a board member of the Association of Collaborative Family Professionals (Edmonton) [ACFP(E)] and am currently the Past President of the Collaborative Divorce Association of Alberta (CDAA).
