My name is Krista. I am a divorce mortgage broker. I have a background in business and leadership, but what fuels my fire is seeing individuals come through divorce financially independent. When one of my clients handed me a plant with tears in her eyes, thanking me for “giving her her power back,” I knew I had found my calling.

I, too, had a “starter husband” and suffered through a three-year expensive, emotional, devastating divorce, concerned for my kids and my financial future. Now, many years post-divorce, I have transitioned to thriving, financially secure and blessed with a much deeper connection with my children than I knew possible.

The reason I became a divorce mortgage broker is because I realized there were so few resources available for divorcing couples. I felt personally humiliated when I had to have my parents co-sign my mortgage during my divorce when I was a grown adult. Divorcing couples require resources and people who understand what they are going through. How can I help?
