Kristina Ingram

Family Specialist, Divorce Coach

Ms. Ingram’s primary area of focus is divorce and separation, working with the entire family, children/youth and parents going through this challenging family change. Ms. Ingram works as part of the Interdisciplinary team in the Collaborative Family Law Process as a Family Specialist or Divorce Coach or with parents in high-conflict through Court-Ordered interventions under the Practice Note 7 Guidelines.

She has had many files in which she has been the first stop prior to engaging other professionals to help parents navigate through the separation from first telling the children about the separation to creating a healthy co-parenting relationship, including the assistance of negotiating a parenting plan that is comprehensive and developmentally appropriate for the children.

Ms. Ingram hopes for early intervention with families going through this difficult time prior to conflict escalating and becoming entrenched; however, if conflict is set in, then a direct, future, and solution-focused approach with families in conflict is key.

Prior to moving into clinical practice, Ms. Ingram has several years of experience working with children and families through traumatic and crisis-related issues including substance abuse, child protection, intimate partner violence, mental health concerns, relationship and parenting issues, and social/systemic problems.
