Amanda M. Lindberg, KC

EDUCATION

Amanda received her B.Sc. (1999) and her B.A. (2003) from the University of Alberta before attending law school and graduating with an LL.B. in 2006. Amanda articled and subsequently practiced in Edmonton. She received her King's Counsel designation in 2024.

PRACTICE

Amanda is an experience and compassionate lawyer who represents individuals and companies in a wide variety of litigation matters including construction, corporate, employment, family and personal injury matters, estate and real estate matters.

APPROACH TO LAW

Amanda believes that each client is important regardless of the nature of their issue. She strives to respond to her clients’ questions promptly and thoroughly. She wants to be her client’s trusted advisor.

Amanda’s goal is to effectively resolve each matter, preferably through negotiation and settlement.

ASSOCIATIONS AND INTERESTS

Amanda is very active with the Canadian Bar Association, Alberta Branch. She is a Past President of CBA Alberta and has held many other positions including Chair of the Agenda for Justice Committee, Co-Chair of the Civil Litigation section, Co-Chair of Edmonton Law Day, Provincial Law Day Chair and Co-Section Coordinator for Alberta North Sections. Amanda has previously been an instructor of bar admission program teaching Professional Ethics, Negotiations, Client Interviewing and litigation focused modules.

Amanda sits on the Governance Committee with the Zebra Centre, a not-for-profit organization that support children who have experienced abuse. 

In her down time, Amanda is an avid camper and loves a good road trip, along with backyard fires, good food, great wine and the company of friends and family.
